Renée Stirling Richards is Queensland born and bred, but has traveled widely in the name of both science and fun. The molecular biology of exocrine glands and cancer are her areas of expertise, attained through research in association with government, clinic, industry and academia. In 2012 she commenced work at the UQ Centre for Clinical Research, developing advanced diagnostics for prostate cancer. She has two children: a 7-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl. She loves her family and her research and is convinced that quality scientific research, education and communication are the keys to a healthier and happier world.
