Christine Williams  

Dr Christine Williams is acting in the role of Queensland Chief Scientist, providing leadership in science policy development and implementation across the whole of government. In this role and her previous role as Assistant Director-General, Science, Christine works closely with state and federal government agencies, universities, industry and other research groups. Christine previously taught statistics and econometrics at the Queensland University of Technology and The University of Queensland. Christine has a Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Queensland and a Master of Philosophy from Oxford University.
