Species On The Move
We are an interdisciplinary group of researchers ranging from students to Prof''s and everything in between. We are working on how climate-driven species redistribution is changing our world, and what we can do about it. Our team includes Gretta Pecl (CMS & IMAS at UTAS), Julia Blanchard (CMS & IMAS at UTAS), Lorena Falconi (JCU), Charlene Janion-Scheepers (Monash), Sarah Jennings (UTAS), Vicki Martin (SCU), Phillipa McCormack (UTAS), Jan McDonald (UTAS), Nicola Mitchell (UWA), Sharon Robinson (UOW), Justine Shaw (AAD), Jan Strugnell (JCU), Adrianna Verges (UNSW), and Cecilia Villanueva (IMAS at UTAS). Our expertise collectively includes biology & ecology, law & governance, economics & business, conservation & climate change adaptation, and we work across terrestrial, marine and freshwater systems from the poles to the tropics.
Our group of Australian women researchers represented here (one of which was the project lead) were the larger ‘contingent’ of a large and multi-author project and we would like to thank and acknowledge the other collaborators in this work.
